The challenge of the logo was to use minimalist design traits while keeping a warmer, down to earth feel. Using the similarities in shape between a coffee cup and a cake (circular). We decided to combine a minimalist design with a distressed look and feel of an old back road sign to bring out the nostalgic. The old spruce trees located on each side of the logo represent a northern feel, and a reminder to cabin trips and taking backroads along the way. The tree works as a mark, available for branding purposes.
